About Us

Chronic Illness Support Club is a space for women (49 & under) who suffer from a diagnosed or undiagnosed chronic illness to come together, share their experiences and receive support from others who understand the patient journey. Think part meeting new people, part support circle.

You can expect a casual meetup with other women who truly ”get it”! We meet at coffee shops across Los Angeles. Our Event Calendar can be found below. Hope to see you at our next meetup☺︎

Hi, my name is Anna!

Nice to meet you. I had the sudden onset of an autoimmune disorder when I was 26-years-old that completely turned my life upside down. I spent years as a “medical mystery” who struggled to be heard by medical professionals. I was lucky enough to get diagnosed in April 2024 and have since received access to the correct medical treatment; however, my life is still far from what it once was. Throughout my patient journey, I’ve felt that I would benefit from a support group but couldn’t find one in my area. That’s where the idea for the Chronic Illness Support Club was born. If you enjoy meeting other spoonies as much as I do, then I hope to see you at our next meetup.

  • This group is free to join! Just the cost of a coffee from the coffee bar, if you choose :)

  • You’re welcome to come as frequently or infrequently as you like.
